Anton Bauer, Litepanels and Sachtler supply equipment to Al Jazeera Media Network

Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera Mubasher will use numerous equipment from the Vitec group's subsidiaries.

Three brands of the group Vitec, Anton Bauer, Litepanels y Sachtler, have supplied a wide range of innovative products for Al Jazeera Network Media. The Qatar-based broadcaster will use these equipment on three of the corporation's largest channels: Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera Mubasher.

Anton Bauer will supply half a thousand Dionic HC, 688 QRC-LG Gold Mount batteries and Titan Twin and TM4 chargers.

Litepanels will deliver 172 Croma, 161 Sola ENG flight kits and 11 Traveler Trio kits. The company's 1×1 solution has been used by Al Jazeera for months as an effective, reliable and cost-effective option thanks to its consistent high-quality LED light output.

Paul Quinn, operations manager at Al Jazeera English, highlighted that "as part of this recent agreement, we have selected the Litepanels Croma and Sola ENG products, as they provide us with a portable, lightweight but robust lighting solution. They allow working on both mains and battery power so they adapt perfectly to the various locations and situations that our information programs and teams of professionals need. We also chose to replace our V-battery systems with Anton Bauer batteries and chargers for their proven reliability, as well as your support network around the world.”

Finally, Al Jazeera Media Network has ordered 172 Sachtler System 18S1 SL MCF tripod systems for use with the new Sony PMW-500 camcorders, and another 172 Sachtler System FSB 6 SL MCF for the Sony PMW-200 cameras.
