Barco launches a 35,000 lumens projector with native 4K resolution
The new HDQ-4K35 is fully ready to be combined with Barco's new display management system, allowing for blended projection at 4K resolutions.
Barco has expanded its portfolio of projection equipment with the new high-brightness projector (35,000 lumens at the center of the image), HDQ-4K35. This proposal is capable of projecting images in native 4K (4096 x 2160) at a framerate of 60 Hz.
It has a unique integrated design, with an internal power supply, rental frame and no external ventilation nozzle.
The new HDQ-4K35 is fully ready to be combined with Barco's new display management system, allowing for blended projection at 4K resolutions.
From June 18 to 20, Barco will show this novelty at InfoComm (Las Vegas), with its commercialization scheduled for Q4 2014.
The HDQ-4K35 is equipped with a 6.5 kW Xenon lamp and high contrast optics that guarantee vivid colors and sharp images. Rental companies that already have the HDQ-2K40 projectors will be able to reuse their XLD lenses in this new projector or opt for dedicated 4K optics.
On the other hand, at InfoComm we will also see the new E2 image processor with native 4K input and output, a screen management system capable of managing a mix of 32 projectors using the HDQ-4K35 with refresh rates of up to 60 Hz.
