Eyevis will show at IBC its new 85-inch Ultra High Definition screen designed for television studios

At IBC Amsterdam 2014, Eyevis will show the functionalities of its EYE-LCD-8500-QHD-LD screen, an 85-inch device with UHD resolution ideal for use in digital signage applications and television studios.

Eyevis has developed the EYE-LCD-8500-QHD-LD 3,840 x 2,160 pixel Ultra HD large format display, designed for digital signage applications and, thanks to its color temperature adaptation, it is ideal for use in television studios. An 85-inch display with a refresh rate of 50/60 Hz, a brightness level of 500 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Through an OPS-compatible slot, the EYE-LCD-8500-QHD-LD display can be equipped with a scaler that features a 3G HD-SDI interface. In digital signage applications the slot can be connected to a standard eyeProcessing unit.

Even in bright ambient light, this Eyevis display delivers 500 cd/m² brightness in a 100% NTSC color space. Furthermore, thanks to the high-quality components and robust metal case, the display is suitable for reliable 24x7 operation.

It is also possible to choose the option for the screen to incorporate touch functionalities with 2, 6 or 32 simultaneous touch points. In this way, the display becomes ideal for displaying interactive content. With Ultra HD high resolution, it offers a clear image, even if the viewer is less than one meter away.

The EYE-LCD-8500-QHD-LD display will be presented by Eyevis at the IBC in Amsterdam, which will be held from September 12 to 16.
