Crosspoint, new official Grass Valley distributor in Spain
The quality of service and market recognition have been key for the North American company Grass Valley to have chosen Crosspoint as a Platinum Partner for its extensive catalog of solutions in Spain.
After purchasing Grass Valley by the Belden group, owner of Miranda Technologies, carried out in April of this same year, Belden had opened a transition period in which to merge both brands to form the new Grass Valley.
During this period, in addition to jointly integrating the products of both brands and establishing which lines will prevail in those segments where there was overlap, the marketing channels that the new company will have have been decided.
In the case of Spain, Grass Valley has opted to maintain and reinforce trust in Crosspoint, former official distributor of Miranda Technologies. As a result of this agreement, Crosspoint will offer for the Spanish market the entire catalog of leading solutions developed by the North American manufacturer such as cameras, mixers, servers, matrices, multi-screens, modular cards... Likewise, it will also provide the technical support service for all these products to its clients.
Crosspoint started its journey in 1993 and soon became the Spanish distributor of Oxtel. That would be the germ of Crosspoint's relationship with Miranda first (when it acquired Oxtel in 2001) and, from now on, with Grass Valley. During all this time, Crosspoint has managed to strengthen the products supplied by each of these companies through professionalism, dedication and commitment to its customers.
Manuel Paredes, regional director for Iberia at Grass Valley, has described this agreement as very positive and states that “technical competence, service capacity and impeccable track record in the market have been Crosspoint's assets that have been most valued when making this decision.”
Likewise, Victor Garcia, commercial director of Crosspoint, expresses his satisfaction with the agreement reached with the Montreal-based company, expressing his "great gratitude for the trust placed by Grass Valley in Crosspoint and we are sure that this relationship will be fruitful for both companies. Having in our catalog the cutting-edge products of the largest broadcast technology provider in the world will allow us to offer our clients the solutions that best adapt, at all times, to any need."
