CSS Audiovisual Technology designs and equips Lorenzo Cortés' recording studio

The studio features a Yamaha Nuage system with 32 faders built into an Argosy Mirage console, 16 channels of AD/DA conversion (NIO 500 A16), and Nuendo DAW software with Mac Pro computer.

The composer and music producer Lorenzo Cortés has just inaugurated his new recording studio in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza).

CSS Audiovisual Technology, in collaboration with Ricard Camprodón, has been responsible for the acoustic design, engineering and equipment of this new recording studio. The construction part has been carried out by local companies, under the supervision of Ricard Camprodón, while the decoration has been in charge of Mamen Pérez.

As equipment, a system has been incorporated Yamaha Nuage with 32 faders built into an Argosy Mirage console, 16 AD/DA conversion channels (NIO 500 A16), and Nuendo DAW software with Mac Pro computer.

2 SSL Xlogic Alpha VHD Pre four-channel microphone preamp units have been installed, as well as various Solid State Logic modules from the XLogic X-Rack series: 2 x XR 621 (Mic pre 9000 Series), 2 x XR 625 (EQ 9000 Series) and 2 x XR 618 (Dynamics 9000 Series) units.

Two Dynaudio M3 VE Bi-amped monitors with PLM10000Q amplification from Lab Gruppen Designs have been installed as the main audio monitors. A varied assortment of microphones from Neumann, AKG, Telefunken and Audio-Technica has also been added.

Lorenzo Cortés is a musical composer and producer who has more than 20 years of experience. During his long career he has made tunes, jingles, library music and soundtracks for different media and for more than twenty countries.
