Tangram creates the Flame User Group community in Spain and Portugal

The first meeting of this group of Flame users, which seeks to facilitate the flow of creative ideas and share knowledge, will be next September 23.

Tangram Solutions, como Partner Gold de Autodesk para M&E ha propuesto a varios profesionales del sector crear una Comunidad de Usuarios, la Flame User Group Iberia, siguiendo el ejemplo de la comunidad creada en NY.

The main objectives of the Flame User Group Iberia are to facilitate the flow of creative ideas, share knowledge about ways of using a current and legendary tool and give visibility to the enormous talent of the artists who use it.

The creation of this group is inspired by the NY Flame User Group created by Andy Milkis and Tim Crean in 2013 and which has served as a reference for the creation of similar groups in other parts of the world.

In this first edition of this meeting that will take place in Madrid, some training sessions will be held on the latest developments in the Flame family. The experts who will be in charge of this training will be Stuart Holloway (Autodesk), Vicen Rodríguez (Tangram) and Toni García, a renowned freelance artist.

On the other hand, for all other professionals who want to learn about Flame, there will be a presentation of this system, as well as Shotgun and the ideal equipment to work with these products in the afternoon. Some very special guests will also participate in the event and will tell us about their experiences: Ferrán Piker (Free Your Mind), Natxo Sainz (Irusoín), Emilio Pérez Barba (Serena) and the graphic artists from the production company Metropolitana.

Finally, Tangram proposes to all users of this new community to participate in the Flame-based clip contest where they will have the opportunity to see the work of Portuguese and Spanish professionals. In this first edition of the contest there will be two categories: already made advertising clips (made in part with Flame) and clips starting from a blank frame (made entirely with Flame). As a prize, contestants will be able to win a Wacom Intuos Pro M Tablet or a G-Tech 4TB external hard drive.
