‘Goenkale’, the most veteran series in Spain, says goodbye to ETB after 21 years in Antena
Produced by Euskal Telebista and Pausoka, throughout these two decades 3,707 chapters and 1,854 hours have been issued.
ETB broadcast last night the last installment of the series in Basque Goenkale. In this way the broadcast of the longest television series in Spain was put an end since it has remained on antenna continuously during the last 21 years.
In total, 3,707 chapters and 1,854 hours have been issued with the Boga bar and its clients as protagonists of this television series that was first broadcast on October 3, 1994.
Goenkale, produced by Euskal Telebista and Pausoka, was born as a challenge since its broadcast was raised from the first moment as daily. It was thus a pioneer of the revitalization of the audiovisual production sector in Euskadi with a close relationship between the autonomic EITB and the Basque producers.
The series has also been a large quarry of professionals in the sector and actors (700 interpreters have gone through their studies).
