Telefónica begins to manage multiple direct sources with the pixel power mosaic

The system, implemented by Qinmedia, generates a mosaic signal based on several live sources with graphics and real -time animations.

Pixel Power, Automation, branding provider and advanced graphics systems, has provided an innovative mosaic service for Telefónica Audiovisual Services for the broadcast of the Movistar+platform. The system has been designed and implemented by the Pixel Power distributor in Spain, QinMedia.

The solution is based on two 3D logo graphics systems, together with a graphics editing station to prepare 3D templates. The set generates a mosaic signal that combines five video signals by each presenting an animated text that is automated from the channels.

The Pixel Power Toolbox application allowed Qinmedia engineers to develop the interface that automatically generates the texts on the screen.

Alejandro Benito López, Director of Operations at Telefónica Audiovisual Services (TSA), argues that “Pixel Power solution provides certain characteristics that are important to us and our customers. The system facilitates the static and dynamic insertion of logos, texts, effects, crawls, 3D graphics, clips, audios and more.
