Atresmedia launches new websites for all its television channels
The Atresmedia channel sites are now based on a more solid platform, with better resolution and a more functional and adaptive video player.
Atresmedia has renewed all the sites of its television channels to adapt to the current consumption habits of users, transfer the spectacularity of television to the digital environment and offer brands a more attractive and effective platform.
The general director of Atresmedia Digital, José Manuel González Pacheco, has stated that the objective is to continue growing and, therefore, “we are constantly evolving.” In a world that advances rapidly and in which technology evolves every day, Atresmedia demonstrates, once again, that it goes hand in hand with this transformation.
“We wanted to adapt to the new consumption, trying to personalize the experience even more,” said González Pacheco in the presentation while highlighting the importance of consumption through mobile devices: “In recent years we have experienced evidence that has led us to this redesign such as consumption on mobility.”
For his part, Silvio González, CEO of Atresmedia, has highlighted the importance of the digital ecosystem for the company: “We are a group that believes not only in the conventional way of distributing our content but also in the digital ecosystem.” An environment that is now presented, in the words of the advisor, as “a platform that allows brands to communicate products in a useful, effective way, in a safe and quality environment, an attribute that characterizes all of the group's work.”
The improvements in the video have been another highlight of the presentation. The general director of Atresmedia Digital has highlighted the group's potential as a quality video producer and has advanced the improvements offered by the new websites in this aspect: "We have improved through a more solid platform, with better resolution and a video player with more functionalities and adaptive." Furthermore, he pointed out that "the new websites allow us to improve the integration of formats within the content, becoming a more attractive and effective platform for brands."
González Pacheco summarized the exhibition with two key concepts: “offering the best possible treatment to Atresmedia content and generating added value with increasingly evolved transmedia products, such as 360º videos, virtual reality or sensitive technology.”
The world advances, technology evolves and users' habits to access information and entertainment evolve as well. “Here and now”, that is the new consumer demand. For this reason, Atresmedia Digital has always gone hand in hand with this evolution and now presents its new television websites with the aim of its content accompanying users wherever they go.
The new design aims to improve the user experience. For this reason, simplicity and order are key in the new design. To make the content as accessible and understandable as possible, it has been aesthetically reinforced, with greater visual power, eliminating noise. The new hierarchy of elements is another of the fundamental pillars on which the new sites have been built. The mobile phone is currently the main Internet access device. Atresmedia has focused on it as a starting point for the redesign. Starting from the smartphone screen, graphic development and the browsing experience have evolved to adapt to other devices: PCs and tablets, mainly.
The video is built with an HTML5 player compatible with the latest browsers and technologies. In addition, to improve the user experience, the video is played depending on the screen and the type of internet connection you have, and can be viewed in SD, HD and even 4K quality.
Formats
Not only does the design of the websites change, but their contents are also expanded. Because Atresmedia knows that the user always wants more, now the Digital area offers a greater volume of “extra” and more innovative content. The new Atresmedia television website is designed to host 360º videos, where the user can immerse themselves in the content or through sensory marketing, a step further to feel what happens in the video.
Make users travel through Atresmedia Televisión's content in the most attractive and effective way, enable them to find exactly what they are looking for and offer them what really interests them. The new sites are also designed to be able to easily share all the news, videos or images you want and with whoever you want.
Quality and notoriety also for brands
This user experience with Atresmedia content is also transferred to Advertising. This is integrated in a user-friendly way, while being differentiated for brands thanks to innovative formats, effectively integrated and with optimal impact. The new development reinvents display advertising.
Technology is put at the service of the user and the brands through dynamic formats that are shown to whoever is interested and at the moment they are interested, allowing advertising not to be launched when it is not relevant to the user. Added to this is the commitment to HMTL5 technology - improving usability - and the best way to market through video.
