TAF instala el sistema de mezcla digital Allen & Heath dLive

The TAF Official School of Modern Music is a center located in Arroyomolinos (Móstoles Oeste, Madrid) that has a wide educational offer with a modern, integrative and flexible approach. Ultra flexible architecture

dLive es un sistema que proporciona una arquitectura ultra flexible, un potente núcleo de procesamiento FPGA, una gran variedad de opciones de control, posibilidades de ampliación y conexión en red, y el intuitivo interface de usuario Harmony. Es por todo esto, entre otros muchos factores, que Allen & Heath dLive se ha convertido, en poco tiempo, en la mejor solución para aplicaciones de audio profesional enfocadas al directo.

Las razones que llevaron a Álex Blanco a escoger este equipo fueron, según sus propias palabras, las posibilidades de expansión, configuración y manejo excepcionales que ofrece dLIve. Otro aspecto importante que también tuvo en cuenta el jefe técnico de TAF fue el hecho de que dLive es un sistema nuevo, fruto de la alianza entre cuatro prestigiosos fabricantes como son Allen & Heath, DiGiCo, Calrec y DiGiGrid. Estas empresas conforman el grupo Audiotonix que es, a día de hoy, el mayor grupo mundial de fabricación de sistemas de mezcla de audio digital. El sistema Allen & Heath dLive adquirido por la escuela TAF está formado por una superficie de control dLive S5000 de 28 faders y un rack modular dLive DM64 que ofrece 64 entradas de micrófono y 32 salidas de línea. El sistema se emplea también para otros trabajos al margen de las actividades del centro. La mesa es usada tanto para conciertos como para los ensayos de giras de primer nivel y grabaciones de programas de televisión.

One of these projects has been a new talent television program called Life is Beautiful. This program, for Television of Castilla la Mancha and the Mediapro group, consisted of a talent show in which the organizers toured the region with Castilian-La Mancha artists who competed to be the voice of the festivals of Castilla-La Mancha.

In this project, Alex was in charge of mixing the PA, that of the 20 staff musicians and also that of the contestants. Through MADI, a signal was sent to the mobile unit so that they could do the broadcast mix, which was completely independent of the live mix.

Another of the works carried out with dLive, also during last summer, has been a series of nightly musical programs broadcast on television.
