This event will be a unique opportunity to see the entire AV signal processing chain in action, from source, through routing, processing and distribution, to control and presentation.

Miquel Tresserras, technical manager of AV Projects at Charmex, points out that “the usual thing at these events is to independently show the different categories of products that make up the signal processing phases, or to set up independent events for the same purpose.”

"So the unprecedented thing about these conferences is that we are going to exhibit for the first time in Spain in an integrated way all the elements we need to process a video signal, finally giving this topic the importance it deserves. Attendees will also be able to appreciate the value that ergonomics can have in AV installations, which is nothing other than the ease of using the technology in a comfortable and pleasant way," he adds.

The open days are of special interest for integration, rental and audiovisual engineering companies that will be able to learn about and test in practice the applications and advantages of the wide range of signal management solutions that Charmex will show in its Barcelona showroom.

“This is an essential event for any company in the audiovisual sector, since we are at a time when signal processing has acquired enormous importance that everyone who works in this environment must know,” says Tresserras. “Without cement you cannot build a wall, and the signal is the basic construction element from which to design any AV circuit,” he adds.

The event will also serve for Charmex to launch its new distribution agreement with Sony Professional Solutions Europe. In this way, at the conference you will be able to see the robotic cameras and video mixers of the Japanese brand that is now distributed by Charmex.

Also on display will be AV controllers from Neets and RGBlink, distribution solutions from Gefen, wireless presentation systems from wePresent and Vivitek (NovoConnect), IDK's 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 video over IP solution, and Christie's video processing and content management tools, including Pandoras Box 6.0, which just won best video management product of the year at the AV Awards 2017, and Phoenix. There will also be an introduction to the new Christie Spyder X80 and Christie Terra.
