1,633,364 spectators attended the XIII Film Festival
'Annabelle: Creation' has been the most watched film of this edition, followed by 'Toc Toc' and 'Blade Runner 2049'.
According to provisional data from the consulting firm comScore, the XIII edition of the Film Festival has registered a total of 1,633,364 spectators during the 3 days of the promotion.
From the organizers of this initiative, FAPAE, FEDICINE, FECE and ICAA, have been satisfied with the support and follow-up that the spectators have once again given to the Film Festival, which remains once again, above one and a half million spectators during these three days.
The news is marked by other matters of great importance and national interest that have reduced the visibility of the event, the high temperatures of the first days of the Film Festival, and the absence of a major title on the billboard that would act as a locomotive, as happened last year with A monster comes to see me, have marked the evolution of this new edition of the Film Festival.
In this edition, 361 cinemas from all over Spain have participated, totaling 3,059 screens. During these three days, the 10 most watched films by the spectators of the Film Festival, in this order, have been: Annabelle: Creation, Toc Toc, Blade Runner 2049, The Snowman, The Call, Operation Peanut 2. Mission: Save the Park, Tadeo Jones 2: The Secret of King Midas, The Mountain Between Us, It and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
After these attendance data, Knock Knock is the fourth most watched Spanish film of all editions of the Film Festival, behind 8 Basque surnames, A monster comes to see me and The Impossible. The historical ranking of the most watched films of the Film Festival remains unchanged, and continues to be led by 8 Basque surnames followed by A monster comes to see me and Dracula, the untold legend.
