Panorama Audiovisual entrusts Power AV with the technical production of the Panorama Awards ceremony

Panorama Audiovisual has entrusted Power AV with the technical production of the ceremony that will be held at IFEMA (Madrid) on May 8 in the space that usually hosts the Madrid Fashion Week fashion catwalk during a ceremony in which technology and audiovisual will be combined with an urban, nocturnal and cosmopolitan environment in which live music will play a leading role.

On May 8, the awards ceremony will take place. Panorama Awards 2018 whose awards recognize excellence, technological development and innovation of companies, professionals and productions in television, film, radio and advertising.

For the afternoon-evening of the first day of the Professional Audiovisual Technology Exhibition (BIT Audiovisual 2018) The 2018 Panorama Awards propose a unique event in which professionals from the audiovisual industry will be the protagonists.

On this occasion, Panorama Audiovisual has entrusted Power OFF the technical production of the ceremony to be held in IFEMA-Madrid Fair in the space that usually hosts the Madrid Fashion Week fashion catwalk.

He is in charge of the technical direction of this unique project. Aleixo Consultores Audiovisuales, specialized in the design of events at the highest level of demand, while on behalf of Power AV, with Jorge Ortega as CEO, Manuel Vicente heads the project, in the lighting design; Alberto Cejudo, in the technical sound direction; Gustavo Gil de Muro (video); and Roberto Ruiz, in coordination and management. Lara Cabello is in charge of the technical production while the artist is in charge of the artistic direction of the gala for another year. Fernando Vázquez Mourelo.

Scenography

Vázquez Mourelo, one of the most recognized artists in contemporary figurative painting, has conceived an event in which technology and audiovisuals will be combined with an urban, nocturnal and cosmopolitan environment in which live music will play a leading role.

"For this edition, we propose a trip around the night in the big city illuminated by the light of neons with reminiscences of North American aesthetics and culture. Music will be an essential ingredient to create that atmosphere that returns us to the culture and rebellion that both in Europe and in the United States marked the 70s. A decade in which television formed a large part of the language and aesthetics of a medium that was reaching maturity at that time. You only have to review programs like those made Fernando Navarrete, who will receive the Panorama Lifetime Award during the gala, to realize the extent to which the 70s included television as we know it today. That look back combined with the most modern technology in audiovisual and lighting solutions promises a unique show,” comments the artist.

For the Panorama Awards, Power AV, in conjunction with Citylight y Milan Acoustics, has designed a set with almost two hundred light cut-out points, more than seventy robotic ones and twenty mappable bars in addition to numerous lighting fixtures. For the PA of the band that will accompany the delivery, a line array with around 18,000 watts will be installed.

The gala will have two first-class visual elements: a 30-meter-long videomapping made up of a blend of five DLP projectors from Panasonic (PT-DZ21K) with projection of 8K content developed by MaxPel Ibérica; and a large LED screen of 22 square meters Leyard. For the first time in an awards ceremony in Spain, the signal for the internal circuit will be produced in Ultra High Definition 4K using the new Panasonic AK-UC3000 cameras with optics Fujinon 4K.

Once the gala is over, the nearly 600 guests will have the opportunity to celebrate these awards and exchange impressions during a cocktail that will take place in an 800m² space next to the auditorium where the awards ceremony will take place. Power AV will also be in charge of the technical production of light and sound in this space.
