More than half a thousand professionals cover Telemundo Deportes since the World Cup in Russia
Telemundo Deportes will offer more than 1,500 hours of World Cup coverage from Russia on all platforms, including more than 500 hours on 4K television and more than 1,000 hours through digital platforms, including live streaming.
More than five hundred professionals, which will contribute more than 200,000 hours of labor and will operate more than 110 tons of equipment, are bringing the excitement of the World Cup in Russia to the spectators of Telemundo Sports in the United States.
In addition to more than two dozen presenters, game analysts, soccer experts and correspondents who will work on-air for Telemundo Deportes, the network also has 64 production engineers and 25 camera teams that collaborate closely with 40 FIFA television teams and digital production teams that will provide pool images in all cities and stadiums.
Eli Velázquez, executive vice president of Programming, Production and Content at Telemundo Deportes, highlights that this time the World Cup takes place in 11 cities, 12 venues and four time zones, given that Russia is the largest country in the world. In total, Telemundo will broadcast 64 games.

The Telemundo team made more than 400 individual visits to Russia during 48 months of planning in preparation for the World Cup. NBCUniversal's support and assets have been there from the beginning and will continue to support Telemundo Deportes' coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Cup with Jim Bell, executive producer of the Telemundo World Cup, at the center of this commitment, integrated into the Telemundo Deportes team and together with Velázquez.
