According to provisional data from the consulting firm comScore, XV edition of the Film Festival has recorded a total of 1,339,946 spectators during the 3 days of the promotion.

The organizers celebrate the support and follow-up that viewers have once again given to the Film Festival and highlight that after 15 editions, managing to mobilize and attract more than 1.3 million viewers to movie theaters for three days is a very positive fact.

Each edition must be evaluated based on the circumstances in which it is developed. In this edition, the absence of a title that, like in other editions, served as a “locomotive” for the box office was noted, in addition to unusual weather conditions at this time that invited another type of leisure.

The Film Festival is an initiative created by representatives of the film industry, FEDICINE, FECE and ICAA, to celebrate cinema in the cinema, as the best cultural and leisure offer in our country.

In this edition, 346 cinemas from all over Spain have participated, totaling 3,000 screens. During these three days, the 10 films most viewed by viewers of the Film Festival, in this order, have been: The Nun, Johnny English: Back in Action, Everybody Knows, The Kingdom, A Small Favor, Mile 22, Searching, Yucatán, The Incredibles 2 y Predator.
