ISE 2019 will bring together global AV/IT experts in the most powerful conference program in its history

The 2019 edition of WHEREAS, from February 5 to 8 in Amsterdam, has made a commitment to offer a wide, reputable and diverse range of opinions, analysis and debates from global experts in all market sectors to which the event is aimed.

To this end, all educational and professional development content is presented under the heading of Learn, Discover, Get Inspired, with a complete program developed through close collaboration with the main organizations of the audiovisual industry, in particular with the co-owners of the fair, Avixa y give in, associated media and other independent organizations.

The latest addition to this program, which will take place at the Forum RAI Amsterdam, is Tupac Martyr, founder of Sator Studio, a multidisciplinary design and creative production group based in London, with clients including BMW, Ralph Lauren, Elton John, Beyoncé and the British Museum.

This expert will close the event (Friday, February 8), with a speech in which he will explain and demonstrate how the Satore Studio team uses technology to create spectacular live events.

The ISE 2019 conference program has attracted an impressive number of global experts from a wide range of sectors and disciplines, with more than ten conferences, five of which will be held at the Okura hotel, a short distance from the RAI Amsterdam.

Among the speakers of Smart Building Conference 2019 is the award-winning architect Aryanour Djalali, general director of DNA Barcelona Architects. Flying from New York to the Dutch capital to talk about the relationship between smart spaces will be Michael L Schneider, director of creative technology and hardware at Gensler, the collaborative design giant ranked #1 in the 2018 World Architecture Top 100.

Amelia Kallman will chair the ISE XR Summit. Futurist, communicator and consultant, she specializes in the impact of new technologies on business and everyday life, having recently written a report on the emerging risks in retail of virtual, augmented and mixed reality for Lloyd's of London.

Jose Avalos, general director of Visual Retail and vp. from Intel's IoT Group, where he is responsible for the digital signage program, will offer a keynote address at the company's conference. He will present a keynote address at the event's Digital Signage Summit.

The well-known film industry consultant stands out at the ISE 2019 Digital Cinema Summit Michael Karagosian, who was part of the team that launched Dolby Surround sound, and has also been a technology advisor to the National Association of Theater Owners during the decade of the transition to digital cinema.

Jan Runge, European Director of the International Cinema Technology Association, will deliver the DCS keynote address at the event. This expert has been executive director of the trade body the International Union of Cinemas (Unic) and is an independent analyst and advisor to the film industry worldwide.

The doctor Gill Ferrell will moderate the conference What’s Next…. Higher Education Experiences, organized by Avixa, who will bring his extensive management experience in higher education, where he has directed and advised on many IT implementations.

Currently, Ferrell is responsible for the e-Learning working group of EUNIS (European University Information Systems).

In another Avixa conference: What’s Next…. Enterprise AV Integrated Experiences, designer and communication strategist Lisa Perrine, CEO of Cibola Systems, whose company has developed more than a thousand consulting projects for clients such as Sony Music, United Talent Agency and the Annenberg Foundation, will participate.

Known as 'the father of home theatre', the expert Theo Kalomirakis, by TK Theaters, has designed private cinemas for world leaders, sports legends and movie stars. He is one of three experts teaching the Cedia association's new home theater design master class, which also offers an extensive 36-course educational program.

For its part, Chris Lange, creative director and head of the creative department of the second largest theme park in Europe, Europa-Park, will present at the attractionsTECH by blooloop conferences, the first theme park project in India, as well as about the attraction centers in Singapore and South Korea in which he works.

Hospitality Technology Next Generation, a trade association dedicated to driving best practices in the hospitality industry through technology adoption, presents Hospitality Tech Summit by HTNG at ISE 2019.

Your director of operations, David Sjolander, has worked on both sides of the industry: as executive IT manager of a hotel with a presence in seventy countries, and as manager of a product development project for the hotel industry.

The sound designer Scott Willsallen, an Emmy Award winner, will deliver the keynote address at the Agora conference on technology in sports facilities. Director of the consulting firm Auditoria, based in the Australian city of Sydney, he has worked on several Olympic and Commonwealth Games ceremonies.

Donato Masci, designer and acoustic consultant who works for the company Studio Sound Service, based in Florence (Italy), will give a presentation at the AudioForum @ ISE, which in its 2019 edition will discuss sound environments, the listening experience and psychological factors.

Additionally, on the Main Stage, a new theater located in the center of Hall 8, will have a complete program of leadership and innovation sessions during the four days of the event, produced by the fair's co-owners, Avixa and Cedia.

Speakers on this program include Joseph Aamidor, consultor especializado en el mercado de edificios inteligentes, cuya ponencia tratará sobre la aplicación de la cadena de bloques a los edificios inteligentes; y Alex Sanfilippo, director de ingeniería del integrador Kraftwerk Living Technologies, quien describirá cómo esta empresa construyó su premiada experiencia 007 Elements.

A los anteriores se suma también Ahmed Refai, director comercial de Archimedia, quien revelará los secretos de un proyecto de cine en casa, ganador del Premio Cedia del proyecto de una nueva construcción de lujo en Dubai.

Además, tanto Avixa como Cedia ofrecerán formación ‘a medida’ durante el certamen, sin necesidad de reserva previa. Así, los FlashTracks de Avixa son sesiones educativas, de veinte minutos de duración, que tendrán lugar en el stand de la asociación (hall 13 – stand N110) sobre temas relacionados con la experiencia del usuario, AV/IT, diseño y tendencias emergentes. Los miembros de Avixa pueden asistir gratuitamente.

Las formación de Cedia tendrán lugar en su stand (hall 1 – stand E20) y abordarán diez temas diferentes a lo largo de los cuatro días de la feria. Gratuitas y también de veinte minutos de duración, estas charlas introducirán a los asistentes en nuevas tecnologías disruptivas, como Web 3.0, Wi-Fi 6 y 5G, para desafiar las formas de pensar establecidas.

Mike Blackman, director general de Integrated Systems Europe, ha señalado que “esta es una completa y convincente propuesta para ISE 2019. Con oradores de alto nivel durante todo el evento, nuestro programa de conferencias es el más grande de la historia de la feria, que se completa con una gran lista de sesiones de liderazgo de pensamiento en el escenario principal.
