Cellnex negotiates with CK Hutchison Holdings the purchase of infrastructure assets
CK Hutchison Holdings is a multinational conglomerate based in Hong Kong that has, among other businesses, more than 28,500 masts spread throughout Europe.
Cellnex Telecom, in compliance with the Securities Market Law, has sent the National Securities Market Commission a writing in which he acknowledges that he is in advanced conversations with CK Hutchison Holdings in order to explore scenarios of strategic collaboration between both companies, including the potential acquisition of certain assets infrastructure and the execution of service contracts.
Potential terms and conditions, including the economic terms and structure of the contemplated transaction, are currently being negotiated.
CK Hutchison Holdings is a multinational conglomerate chaired by tycoon tycoon Hong Kong Lee Ka-shing based in Hong Kong. The company was formed in March 2015 through the merger of Cheung Kong Holdings and its main sister company Hutchison Whampoa. Operates in five markets: ports and related services, retail, infrastructure, energy and telecommunications, with operations in more than 50 countries.
At this time, CK Hutchison has about 28,500 masts spread throughout Europe.
