Canon reinforces its 4K and 8K portfolio with XF605 and a new zoom lens

Canon launches the XF605 professional 4K camcorder equipped with a 1.0 type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor and a 15x 4K L series optical zoom lens with 30x Advanced Zoom in Full HD.

It is a camera capable of working at 4K 60p/50p, 4:2:2, 10-bit and Full HD with a high frame rate of up to 120p in a small form factor. Activated by a sensor CMOS type 1.0 and a processor DIGIC DV 7, this camera performs at the highest level demanded by today's professionals.

The XF605 offers several options for custom images, which can be adjusted to meet different needs and offer greater flexibility in post-production or on location, including HDR (HLG/PQ), Canon Log3 and user-created LOOK Files.

Employing the same 5-axis image stabilization system used in Canon's XF and XA series, the XF605 produces continuous recordings, even in dynamic recording scenarios.
