Lightcraft updates its virtual production app for iPhone with 12 new features

Jetset, development of Lightcraft which makes virtual production accessible at all stages of the production process through an iPhone application, continues to multiply its possibilities with new features such as live cinematic compositing, support for slot Gaussians and new integrations with Aximmetry that provide a “fast track” to Unreal Engine.

Jetset puede funcionar como cámara principal o conectarse con cámaras de cine sin espejo, including the popular Sony FX3 and Canon R5, as well as others cinematographic cameras from RED or ARRI. Once connected, Jetset will capture the original camera video, a real-time composite, a LiDAR depth map and full tracking information, so that an organized set of data can be used throughout production.

The latest Lightcraft development update, available in standard, Pro and Cinema versions, includes great new features, such as live composition generating sequences at 24 fps; compatibility with slot guassians, which translates into the creation of 3D environments or objects through photos, videos or LiDAR scans; the generation of superdailies, with which editors will be able to access cinematographic shots with 3D virtual backgrounds, or the Aximmetry integration, offering from your mobile a keyer high quality. Additionally, Jetset now offers support for Tentacle timecode, object locators, new remote controls, 3D Garbage Matte controls, user-selected project storage, and an expanded list of camera types and virtual sensors.
