Brainstorm to Unveil New Features of Its Infinity Set Virtual Studio Solution at IBC 2016

Augmented reality, TeleTransporter and new HandTracking functionality will be highlights this year

Brainstorm Multimedia will present at the IBC 2016 fair in Amsterdam a revolutionary virtual presentation called From Leonardo to Ricardo, an exciting visual story that tells the origins of virtual reality in the 15th century. This presentation, originally from NAB 2016, details the core capabilities of the Infinity Set virtual studio application, powered by graphics created in Aston, Brainstorm's 3D graphics solution.

The latest advancements in Infinity Set 2.0 include Teleporter and 3D Presenter functionality, as well as new Hand Tracking and Volumetric Lighting. All these functionalities are included within TrackFree technology, exclusive to Brainstorm, and which constitutes an intermediate step between trackless and tracking. These capabilities will be showcased in the public demo that will take place at the booth every 30 minutes.

The TeleTransporter functionality, Brainstorm's revolutionary “virtual traveler” technology that allows the presenter to be projected as if they were a 3D augmented reality object, will be one of the main attractions. Hand Tracking, which allows the presenter to manage graphics and animations with the simple movement of their bare hands, will also be featured in the demo. Special mention deserves the other new functionality of Infinity Set, Volumetric Lighting. Thanks to TrackFree's ability to turn the presenter into a 3D object, Infinity Set users will be able to project light on their figure with great realism, thus enhancing the creative capabilities of the virtual project.
