BRAINSTORM en BIT BROADCAST 2016

Brainstorm Multimedia is showing in BIT Broadcast the latest advances of Infinity Set 2.0, which include the teleporter and 3D presenter functionalities, as well as the new Manos tracking and volumetric lighting. All these functionalities are included within TrackFree technology, exclusive to Brainstorm, and which constitutes an intermediate step between trackless and tracking. These capabilities will be shown in the public demo that will take place at the stand every 30 minutes thanks to a virtual stage of more than 10 square meters.

The teleporter functionality, Brainstorm's revolutionary “virtual traveler” technology that allows the presenter to be projected as if they were a 3D augmented reality object, will be one of the main attractions. Hand tracking, which allows the presenter to manage graphics and animations with the simple movement of their bare hands, is also the protagonist in the demo.

Another new feature of Infinity Set deserves special mention, volumetric lighting. Thanks to TrackFree's ability to turn the presenter into a 3D object, Infinity Set users will be able to project light on their figure with great realism, thus enhancing the creative capabilities of the virtual project.

Those attending the fair are also checking these days the possibilities offered by Aston, the application for creation and playout of 3D graphics in real time and CG. Aston is not just a product, but a family of applications capable of covering any requirement, from low-cost 2D templates to complex high-resolution 3D CG projects.

Last Tuesday, Infinity Set won the Panorama Award for the best solution for graphic creation.

With an eye on the next elections

Brainstorm has extensive experience in election projects. Since its inception in 1993, Brainstorm's Production Services team has helped many broadcasters navigate the complex and often difficult process of broadcasting a general election. These broadcasters include such relevant names as NBC in the United States and the BBC in the United Kingdom, as well as TVE and Antena 3 during the last general elections.

These years of experience have given rise to Brainstorm's latest innovation: Aston Elections, a unique tool that will allow all types of televisions to cover the elections with an excellent quality-price ratio. Aston Elections has 14 default graphics templates, customizable and ready to go live. One of the most striking advantages of this application is that it does not require prior experience or a preparatory course. Thanks to the e-Studio graphics engine, Aston Elections offers high visual impact graphics very quickly and easily.

Televisions that need advanced solutions will be able to hire Brainstorm's veteran production services. Brainstorm's technology is top-notch, but the real key to undertaking a project of this magnitude lies in the experience and know-how of the professionals who make up the production services team. During a project of this nature, the number one priority is not only to offer attractive graphics, but also to ensure the correct and fast reception of data. Brainstorm has a great advantage in this regard, having been the fastest company when it comes to receiving and serving data during an election night on a recurring basis, in particular during the 2011 general elections on Antena 3 TV.

The entire Brainstorm professional services team is present at BIT Broadcast to serve clients interested in purchasing solutions for the upcoming 2016 general elections.
