The technology of Dolby Vision y Dolby Atmos stand as fundamental axes of Dune, director Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's acclaimed novel series.

Dune, which is presented as the great hope of the blockbusters science fiction of 2021, has been released on September, 17th in Spain. It has a cast full of established and emerging names, among which we find figures such as Javier Bardem, Rebecca Fergusson, Jason Momoa, Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.

With the aim of building a completely immersive experience that would reinforce his ambitious plans, Villeneuve has opted for HDR technology Dolby Vision. On the other hand, the Canadian filmmaker has also opted for immersive sound Dolby Atmos, which enhances the soundtrack composed by Hans Zimmer and the sound design by Theo Green.
