The possibility of being able to access both channels opens, according to RTVA, a New business avenue and considerably multiplies the channel's potential audience, since 90% of the 493 million Spanish speakers who have Spanish as their native language reside in the American continent.

The same route of emission of Canal Sur signals for America, the same transponder, is used by the international broadcasts of RTVE, TVG and EiTB. The broadcasts can be received via satellite Hispasat H30W5 with the following technical parameters: orbital position 30º West, frequency 12,052 Mhz, vertical polarization and TP133 transponder.
