Hispasat announces the eighth edition of its scholarship for women engineers

The Scholarship Hispasat “Woman Engineer” finances postgraduate studies in the aerospace field for a student of Aeronautical or Telecommunications Engineering.

Hispasat announces the eighth edition of its scholarship for women engineers, aimed at financing postgraduate studies in a qualifying master's degree in Aeronautical or Telecommunications Engineering related to the aerospace sector.

The Hispasat “Woman Engineer” Scholarship is annual and its objective is to promote the presence of female talent in the technological field. In this way, it aims to contribute to the professional development of women and facilitate their incorporation into the space sector, in which the presence of women has a long way to go.

The scholarship consists of financial aid of 5.000 euros, which will be used to pay the tuition for the postgraduate course in which the winner enrolls and other expenses associated with her studies, duly justified.

The scholarship application period for the 2024-2025 academic year begins today, March 8, and will remain open until next May 20. The result of the contest will be announced on June 20. The bases are available on the Hispasat website.
