V Hispasat Female Engineer Scholarship aimed at financing postgraduate studies

The operator promotes female talent in engineering areas to increase the presence of women in the sector.

Hispasat, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator of the Red Eléctrica group, has announced the fifth edition of the Hispasat Scholarship for a woman engineer. It is aimed at financing postgraduate studies in a qualifying master's degree in Aeronautical or Telecommunications Engineering related to the aerospace sector.

The Hispasat Female Engineer Scholarship It is annual and its objective is to promote the presence of female talent in the technological field. In this way, it aims to contribute to the professional development of women and facilitate their incorporation into the space sector, in which the presence of women has a long way to go.

The scholarship consists of a financial aid of 5,000 euros, which will be used to pay the tuition for the postgraduate course in which the winner enrolls and other expenses associated with her studies, duly justified.

The scholarship application period for the 2021-2022 academic year begins on March 8 and will remain open until May 17. The result of the merit contest will be announced on June 15.
