Hollyland: Solidcom C1 Pro, intercom with noise cancellation

The Solidcom C1 Pro, the latest development of Hollyland, is a duplex wireless intercom system with dual microphone, environmental noise cancellation (ENC) and Push-to-Talk (PTT) function, among other features.

Hollyland has designed the Solidcom C1 Pro for use in “noisy or extremely noisy” environments such as music festivals, sporting events, audiovisual productions or spaces of worship. This headset system latest generation incorporates technology DECT 6.0, a wideband audio range of 150 Hz a 7 kHz, a reliable LOS range of up to 350 m for 2 to 9 people and a portable design without waist packs. Likewise, the Solidcom C1 Pro is compatible with Solidcom C1, meaning users can add Pro headphones to their C1 system.

The technology of noise cancellation ON It is the great asset of Hollyland's development. Each team has two microphones: The main microphone captures the speaker's voice range, while the secondary omnidirectional microphone records background noise levels in 360º. Through a process with the ENC algorithm, the background noise can be be eliminated up to 20 dB. To test practical use, Hollyland invited more than 10 church teams to experience the Solidcom C1 Pro for 2 months and, according to the brand, it has received excellent feedback.

Likewise, beyond the fact that the microphone arm can be moved up or down to switch between Talk and Mute modes, Hollyland has added the PTT function (push-to-talk) to offer greater operational flexibility. By simply pressing the Talk/Mute button, users mute the intercom system, while by holding the Talk/Mute button, users activate the PTT function. Similar to using a walkie-talkie, the risks of interrupting or talking over an existing dialogue or communication are “virtually eliminated.”
