RTVE Audio: RTVE's new digital audio platform

RTVE Audio was born with the aim of housing in a single space all of RTVE's digital audio offering: live shows and programs from the six Spanish National Radio networks: Radio Nacional, Radio Clásica, Radio 3, Ràdio 4, Radio 5 and Radio Exterior and the original native RTVE podcasts.

Now it is easier than ever to find all the digital audio produced on RTVE. By simply registering for free in the RTVE Audio app you can follow the live shows, recover the programs and listen to your favorite podcasts. The user can also make your own playlist, download the content you like the most to listen to without an internet connection or resume listening to an audio slowly.

On the cover of RTVE Audio you will find quick access to the live broadcast of all the Spanish National Radio stations, including video signals from your webcams. It also allows you to enjoy exclusive streaming, such as concerts, broadcasts of sporting events or special programs, among which the representations of Spanish National Radio's sound fiction stand out.

In addition, the player allows sequential forward and rewind of 10 seconds in 10 seconds and the option of continuous playback.

On the platform you can choose between cnarrative, conversational content and documentary series. Here you can also find Radio 3 Extra music podcasts or the most recent originals from the platform such as girl I was, The Mediterranean lighthouse o We are rebellious.

In addition to the documentary series that already exist in the RTVE podcast catalog, this new platform will host production bets such as sound fiction and the informative and explanatory podcast, created with the Informativos digital team. The director of Platforms and Channels of RTVE, Alessia Di Giacomo, points out that "with the new platform RTVE is betting strongly to position itself in the digital audio sector. A 360 offer that aspires to compete with the large platforms in the listening time of the public. RTVE Audio also offers a more intuitive user experience, an app version for mobile consumption and another for connected televisions."

The platform also has a mobile application, as well as a web version and another for technology. HbbTV.
