Overon, in collaboration with Eumovil, Unitecnic and Mediatem, brings the Granada Summit to the whole world

The Secretary of State for Communication and the European Commission trusted Overon (Mediapro) as host broadcaster of the Meeting of the European Political Community and the Informal Meeting of the Heads of State and Government held in Granada on October 5 and 6.

In collaboration with Eumovil, Unitecnic y Mediatem, Overon deployed an extensive operation at the Granada Summit in the press center located in the city's Congress Palace.

Grup Mediapro was responsible for the design, integration and operation of the Master Control Room (MCR), of the equipment of 60 television and radio booths, signal distribution in the press room, indoor and outdoor stand ups for televisions, booking y planning of facilities and means of the Presidency of the European Union, as well as technical assistance to all accredited media in the press center.

More than fifty Mediparo professionals participated in the deployment, including producers, technical directors, engineers, filmmakers, satellite operators, MCR technicians and auxiliary personnel. The group moved a team made up of 6 DSNGs, 1 fly away, several reception antennas, equipment for radio and television booths with audio and video distributors and more than 60 monitors.

The MCR was equipped with the necessary means to carry out the reception and production of all the signals generated during the days of the Summit, as well as the necessary elements for the distribution of the various feeds of the institutional signal of the different events and meetings to the press room, by satellite throughout Europe, and by streaming to all social networks and official websites of the Presidency of the Government of Spain and the Presidency of the European Union.

Additionally, Overon provided technical and production support to numerous national and international clients such as TVE, ETB, Eurovision Services, Servus, ZDF and Bloomberg, among others.
