Matrox ConvertIP Family

ISE 2024, an appointment for the Pro AV world that will take place from January 30 to February 2 at Fira de Barcelona, will feature the usual presence of Matrox Video, which beyond showing their experience in the AV over IP world will present a significant number of solutions already widespread in the broadcast industries.

Matrox Video will have a pod focused on live production with a focus on the use of SMPTE ST 2110. The company’s experts will aim to demonstrate “how easy and cost-effective” it is to distribute Panasonic Kairos live production content locally within the organization’s LAN with Matrox ConvertIP converters and ultra-low latency encoder/decoders. These compact devices support both SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX and preserve the quality and real-time nature of the live event content they distribute, while simplifying network requirements and working within an organization’s standard network infrastructure. The company will also showcase how ConvertIP enables multiple content streams to be distributed using less network equipment and reduce the installation of network cabling.

Matrox Maevex 7100 7112A 7112HPro AV users interested in ultra-low latency H.264/H.265 streaming and recording will see Matrox Maevex encoders and decoders in action. The Matrox Maevex 6100 Series encoder/decoders and the new Maevex 7100 Series encoders enable simultaneous multi-channel, ultra-low latency, low bit rate, high quality, zero latency streaming and recording for real-time output of AV content in collaboration-centric environments. Beyond these demos, Matrox Video will be showcasing the Matrox ConvertIP Series at partner booths including AIMS, AMD, Panasonic, and NETGEAR.

In addition to these tools aimed at the world of video production in AV environments, among other equipment, Matrox will showcase Extio 3 IP KVM extenders, which facilitate remote control of a multi-monitor workspace of up to four 4K or 16 Full HD displays, and Matrox LUMA Pro graphics cards, which leverage Intel Arc GPUs to create versatile IP-based and baseband video wall systems with robust H.264/H.265 decoding. A new PCI Express quad PCI Express HDMI capture card designed for video wall use cases requiring high-density HDMI streams up to 4Kp60 will also be on display.
