Telos announces Forza FM, addition to the Omnia Forza range

The new Forza FM arrives to meet the unique demands of FM radio contexts by taking advantage of all the knowledge of Telos Alliance in the area of software audio processing.

Just like the original product Everything is forza to HD, DAB, y streaming the audio (now branded Forza HDS), Forza FM ships as a container which can be run on a servidor COTS on-premises or on a cloud-hosted platform like AWS. The system maintains the same five band architecture, although its wideband and multiband processing stages have been optimized to adapt to the world of FM radio.

Everything is forza It rides the same Frank Foti-designed “Silvio” clipper used in the Omnia.11 and includes HD-1 processing with a built-in diversity delay. The FM stereo generator will power the outputs µMPX and linear MPX over IP. Likewise, the system maintains the intuitive user interface HTML5 single page entered with Forza HDS, making use of “smart controls” to adjust multiple parameters with a single control. In this way, Tellos Alliance aims to make it easy for less experienced users to deliver “stellar sound” while still providing the individual processing controls that professionals expect to fine-tune their audio.

Omnia Forza FM is expected to be available in May 2024 through the global network of Omnia partners.
