TVU Networks to unveil new AI technologies that can be integrated across its ecosystem at NAB 2024
Continued innovation from TVU Networks‘ TVU Media Lab will materialize during NAB 2024 (April 13-17, Las Vegas) in the form of AI-focused innovations that aim to “expand what’s possible in broadcast.”
The TVU Media Lab research and development center is the backbone of TVU Networks‘ research and development strategy. Over the past 19 years, this initiative has driven numerous breakthroughs such as MediaMind, a solution that leverages AI to combine voice recognition and facial recognition. In this way, the system is able to automatically create metadata and enable “self-aware” content, simplifying production workflows.
Looking ahead to NAB 2024, TVU Networks anticipates a number of “human-centric” artificial intelligence initiatives aimed at expanding “what’s possible in broadcast.” Among these initiatives is the Media Solution AI chatbot, a tool already accessible through TVU’s website that allows users to input their specific challenges, such as remote production implementation (REMI), and receive tailored solutions. TVU’s technology can be seamlessly integrated into various workflows, such as TVU MediaMind, TVU Producer and TVU Channel, allowing professionals to work from acquisition to distribution. In TVU’s words, by adopting these initiatives, broadcasters and content creators can “unlock new levels of efficiency and creativity.” Other AI enhancements will be the automation of ad reporting, content clipping or transcripts.
Paul Shen, CEO of TVU Networks, believes the company’s presence at NAB 2024 will be a “testament” to the company’s commitment to driving innovation. 1Our AI initiatives are set to change the way professionals work, and we invite everyone to visit our booth to experience these solutions firsthand,” he said.
