Globo TV produces 'Big Brother' with AMPP of Grass Valley

The facilities of Globo TV in Rio de Janeiro have introduced a state-of-the-art IP video production setup Grass Valley, significantly improving the studio that houses the iconic 'Big Brother Brazil' (BBB).

In its 24th season, Big Brother Brazil, a reality television phenomenon, brings together a diverse group of individuals to live isolated from the world in the house of Big Brother under constant surveillance for 100 days. The program thrives on audience participation, and the final contestant avoids expulsion to win a substantial cash prize.

This comprehensive upgrade migrates from traditional SDI infrastructure to native IP production tools Grass Valley, including Grass Valley AMPP, providing a production deployment based on microservices on premises, housed in AMPP Edge COTS.
