Roland launches two new products for direct streaming (V-80HD) and graphics (Graphics Presenter)

The V-80HD direct streaming video mixer and the Graphics Presenter software are the two new commitments to professional audiovisual environments by Roland.

The V-80HD is a compact hybrid event mixer with versatile video connections, advanced automation features and SRT support. Regarding the software Graphics Presenter provides a simple solution for creating professional titles and motion graphics for live productions with the V-80HD. Other Roland video switchers will receive Graphics Presenter and SRT support via free system updates later in 2024.

The versatile V-80HD offers a set of I/O includes eight inputs for 3G SDI, HDMI and SRT video sources, y seven outputs supporting 3G SDI, HDMI, USB 3.0 and LAN (RTMP/SRT) connections. It also provides integrated control for PTZ cameras from various manufacturers, as well as remote operation and video monitoring through a specific app for iPad and computer control software for macOS and Windows.

The V-80HD comes packed with useful tools to optimize production processes. The functions of scene memory, macro and sequencing They simplify handling, allowing the user to pre-program complicated operations and execute them with simple commands. Also included are pro audio features such as multi-channel mixing, high-quality effects processing, and flexible aux routing options.

The V-80HD admite SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), an open source standard for AVoIP (Audio and Visual over Internet Protocol) created by Haivision. SRT offers secure transmission of audio and video over IP networks and provides sophisticated connectivity in installed system configurations.

Graphics Presenter

New Graphics Presenter software for Windows allows users of the V-80HD and other Roland mixers easily create spectacular titles and graphics, thus eliminating expensive third-party graphics presentation solutions. Setup is quick and easy, with a single HDMI connection to send fill and key signals from your computer to the mixer.

Graphics Presenter includes an intuitive process with a wide selection of templates ready to edit, with animated title text, sports scores, animated graphics and more. The software and templates are free, and downloadable content will be released periodically on Roland Cloud.

Finally, note that throughout 2024, Roland will release free system updates for various mixers and will add Graphic Presenter support to the V-8HD, V-160HD, VR-6HD and VR-120HD, as well as the option to use SRT on the SR-20HD, VR-6HD and VR-120HD.
