Roland SR-20HD, a new AV mixer for direct streaming

Roland SR-20HD

The simple SR-20HD solution Roland combines a video mixer, audio, preview screen, recorder and player, and streaming encoder in a single portable unit.

This team simplifies the implementation of a livestreaming platform being able to broadcast directly to YouTube Live, Facebook, Twitch or via RTMP to a CDN without using a computer. This eliminates the risk of malware and other issues related to computer streaming on corporate networks.

Roland SR-20HD The SR-20HD incorporates advanced A/V technologies from Roland and includes automatic features that run in the background to prevent interruptions and protect the organization from the broadcast of inappropriate content.

The function Adaptive Bitrate monitors the network connection and automatically adjusts the streaming rate to reduce interruptions due to bandwidth issues. A mobile phone with a 4G or 5G data plan can be connected and used as a primary or redundant backup streaming connection.

Finally, regarding the function Safety Delay It allows you to store up to 60 seconds of video and audio, so you can switch to a still image or mute the sound if something goes wrong.
