ECAM Forum: new international co-production forum in Madrid

The School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid organizes from June 10 to 14 the first edition of ECAM Forum, an event that was created to promote audiovisual production, the promotion of emerging Spanish talent and the internationalization of projects and companies.

This co-production forum seeks to become an essential platform for the revitalization of the Spanish audiovisual sector, connecting the best national talent with a leading delegation of international experts and decision makers.

During these four days, the selected projects in different modalities (feature films, short films and series) They will share work space through presentations, screenings, meeting agendas, one-to-ones and scheduled meetings, conferences, and industry rendezvous.

Among the entities that collaborate in this initiative, Madrid Film Office has joined with the objective of supporting emerging talent and promoting the city of Madrid as a setting for audiovisual projects, attracting investment and promoting local development and the international image of the city and highlighting Madrid's audiovisual heritage.

It does so through the call (among the projects participating in ECAM FORUM) of the 'After Award' for a short film project in development, and the 'Films to Come Award' for a feature film in development. The winners will be announced during the event.

In addition, Madrid Film Office offers cinema and tourism themed routes in the city of Madrid linked to its audiovisual heritage, as an activity to welcome international visitors to the Forum and has organized the fam trip 'Shooting in Madrid. Make it possible', intended for invited international producers.
