Max presents Eurosport's coverage for Paris 2024: 10 channels, 3,600 hours of live...
The headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee in Madrid has hosted an event in which all the details of the coverage of Eurosport (Max) of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, an event that will take place from July 26 to August 11 and will cover 329 events in 45 different disciplines.
Max, and therefore Eurosport, as a window to the sports world of the video on demand and streaming platform, will be the point of reference for the broadcast of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, apart from the individualized and limited rights purchases by different broadcasters such as RTVE in Spain, defined as a “partner” in this year's edition.

Araimo has confirmed that Max will host the Olympic Games until 2032, and for this the platform has been prepared to offer the “greatest and most complete experience ever undertaken” in the context of streaming and video on demand platforms: “The idea is to be able to offer every minute we listen to in all possible media: through mobile phones, Smart TVs, internet, tablets... In all possible media. We believe that Max is the best platform to offer our audience the best service.”
With the best team
This effort will be accompanied by a important human deployment in front of and behind the cameras: “We will not only offer the best platform, but we will try to tell the Olympic Games with the best team, both on stage and behind it, to offer you the best Olympic experience.”
For this coverage the media group will deploy three studies (two in Paris and one in Madrid) from which more than fifty experts, commentators and special envoys will report.
Next, Angel Yllera, Senior Vice President Of Tv Licensing, Affiliate Sales And Digital Distribution Southern Europe WBD, ha confirmado que Max coverage will span more than 3,600 hours of Olympic sports, and that every minute of the action will be available live and on demand. This complete coverage, which will begin at nine in the morning and end at 11:00 p.m., will be offered in total ten channels: the classic Eurosport 1 (traditional Olympic disciplines such as athletics, swimming, gymnastics and cycling) and Eurosport 2 (with special monitoring of Spanish athletes), the Eurosport 4K channel (with Full HD (sic), HDR and Dolby Atmos) and Eurosport 3-9: seven monographic channels aimed at different topics: racquet sports and golf, artistic disciplines, football, basketball, contact sports, handball and volleyball.
The user experience has also been especially taken care of to allow the user to discover all the programming at a glance, receive gold medal alerts, identify the key moments of each broadcast or establish filters by sports, which will allow the viewer to personalize their viewing experience.
