The EOS C400, presented in June of this year, is defined as an “all-in-one” solution adapted for all types of different productions: indie films, documentaries, live broadcasts, virtual productions or even ENG. Canon's development is the first high-end EOS Cine camera with an RF mount (allowing it to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of RF prime, zoom, hybrid, cine and VR lenses), and is equipped with a full-frame, stacked, back-illuminated (BSI) 6K CMOS sensor.

The camera, small in size, also incorporates new technology Canon ISO triple base, which represents a new standard, and which has been developed to offer optimal results in low light environments, as well as the cleanest optical results. With base ISO levels of 800, 3200 and 12800 when recording in Canon Log 2 or 3, users have greater flexibility when shooting in difficult lighting conditions.

The solution is the second Canon EOS cinema camera that incorporates a sensor CMOS backlit stacking, which supports 12-bit 6K 30p Cinema RAW Light recording. The system also supports new M video formats such as XF-AVC S or XF-HEVC S, delivering oversampled image quality of 4K 4:2:2 10 bits.

Beyond benefiting from the same triple ISO of the C400, the camera stands out for being compatible with adapters montura PL y RF from Canon, as well as by integrating Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, now enhanced with advanced autofocus functionalities with precise face, eye and head tracking, as well as new body and animal tracking.

Both cameras allow you to record video internally on RAW 12-bit on the memory card, as well as the possibility of using the Cinema EOS video recording, along with Canon Log 2 and 3, with video proxy recording, which is now fully compatible between two cards. Meanwhile, in the area PTZ, Canon is providing a wide selection of its indoor and outdoor PTZs: CR-N100, CR-N300, CR-N500 y CR-X300, controllers, as well as Canon Auto Loop and Auto Tracking are part of the company's showcase.
