Iris to collaborate with Marshall on cloud-based camera control
The company specialized in AI-based camera control technology, Iris, has closed within the framework of IBC 2024 an interesting collaboration with Marshall Electronics in order to integrate its embedded software into the manufacturer's cameras.
This will allow users to control their devices through the cloud directly on the Iris cloud control technology platform. This new partnership introduces a revolutionary integration that allows you to fully manage Marshall cameras from anywhere in the world in real time without the need for additional hardware. Users can seamlessly control camera movement, adjust settings, and implement AI-based features such as auto-tracking, all from a single cloud-based interface. This integration is set to redefine video production, making it more flexible, scalable and easier to use.
By combining Iris' advanced cloud monitoring technology with Marshall's next-generation cameras, this partnership provides an unprecedented solution for education, corporate, broadcast and live events professionals. This integration provides users with greater accessibility and ease of use, setting a new standard in the industry.
New PTZ CV620 and CV625
Marshall Electronics' new CV620 20x PTZ camera has debuted at IBC 2024. With salidas 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB 3.0 e IP y zoom 20x, this new camera is perfect for a wide range of mid-sized rooms, including corporate communications and teleconferencing, as well as traditional broadcast applications.
The new camera has a 57 degree field of view and supports up to 1080p/60. The camera incorporates a high quality Sony sensor and is available in black (CV620-B12) and white (CV620-W12) models to adapt to different aesthetics. It also offers microphone and line-in audio options, as well as a range of IP protocols, including RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT and MPEG-TS.
Marshall also expands its tracking offering with the new CV625 PTZ that has a zoom 25x which is ideal for automatic monitoring of large venues, broadcast events, performance stages, educational classrooms and large-format places of worship.
Available in black (CV625-TB) and white (CV625-TW) models, the camera uses the AI face learning to automatically track, follow and frame presenters. The CV625 features a high-performance 8-megapixel 1/1.8-inch sensor to capture crisp, high-quality UHD video. The camera offers a resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps with a horizontal viewing angle of 83 degrees. The CV625 offers versatility for various applications thanks to its range of outputs, such as HDMI, 3G-SDI, Ethernet, RTSP streaming and USB 3.0.
