Rocío Vicente, new Director of Project Development at Medina Media

The Sevillian journalist Rocío Vicente del Estad joins the Content team of Medina Media which, since 2024, has been led by Rossana Rompato Harris, thus taking over operational relief from Ricardo Medina in the new stage of the production company.

Medina Media, creator of innovative formats such as Andaluces por el Mundo, España Directo, Madrid Directo, La Mañana de La1 or 4K documentary series such as The Chef of the Sea, Holy Week of Andalusia, El Rocío y The Carnival of Cádiz, among others, undertakes this year its strategic plan 2025-2028.

Rocío Vicente already worked at Medina Media as a reporter for Andalusians around the World between 2017 and 2021, the year in which she joined the ADM Group as Content Director, where she has spent the last three years leading the direction, creation and development of audiovisual projects for regional and national channels; such as Canal Sur TV, Telemadrid, TVE, La 2 de TVE Catalunya and Televisión de Galicia, among others.

Vicente has more than 25 years of experience in the audiovisual sector. She has a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville and the University of Copenhagen. He has continued his training with several master's degrees and has taught television classes at the university. In addition to his work on television, he has directed various documentaries for platforms such as Movistar+ and Mediaset.

The new Director of Project Development at Medina Medina has gone through all the positions in the profession: editorial assistant, scriptwriter, reporter, presenter, coordinator, director,... until being part of the management team and the Executive Committee of the ADM group. He has created different projects of various kinds. She has edited live programs with multi-cameras, has directed spaces on different radio networks and currently collaborates on Cadena Ser. She has also been responsible for different national and international communication and branding campaigns.
