Intinor's Direkt series receives 10-bit encoding and decoding

NAB 2025 (April 6-9, Las Vegas) will allow the Swede Intinor present the latest developments in its Direkt series, which seek to provide greater quality to live productions.

The latest update of Directly adds the defendant 10 bit encoding and decoding, delivering improved color depth and dynamic range for remote production and contribution workflows. Thanks to this improvement, television networks will benefit from more precise images, while at the same time being able to optimize the efficiency of their bandwidth. Additionally, the Direkt router series now supports streaming input IP SMPTE 302M (Dolby E) and SDI cards enabling the transmission of professional-quality multi-channel audio for live broadcast and remote production.

As part of its commitment to improving the reliability of IP-based video transport, Intinor continues to improve support for SMPTE 2022-7 y RTP sobre SRT. Implementing these open standards increases interoperability with various SRT encoders and routers, offering redundancy across satellite, fiber, and Internet routes. Additionally, supporting NDI's growing role in live production, Intinor solutions become compatible with PEOPLE 6.x y NDI-HX.

Ease of use also continues to be a key objective for Intinor, as will be demonstrated with the next version of Intinor Direct Management (IDM). Its updated interface simplifies the management of multiple Direkt units, while the Improved SDI input/output configuration tool It will offer users greater control and streamlines the overall experience.
