Dimension announces a new workflow for content production 100% based on AI

With the goal of helping filmmakers and content creators produce content “more quickly and efficiently than ever,” Dimension Studio has developed a new comprehensive AI content production process that will be made available to the entire company so that its teams can deliver “amazing creative results” to clients.

Designed by your team Dimension Futures, the process was put to the test with the production of an animated short titled Mara & Milo: Magic & Mayhem. All, from the initial idea, the storyboard, the design of characters and environments, to the control of the virtual camera, the composition of the shots and the voice-over, has been made by a team of two artists whose creative work has been supported by a comprehensive selection of AI tools.

This process allowed the artists to accelerate creative and aesthetic development and deliver the finished production in matter of weeks instead of months. And while Dimension chose cute children's animation as the style for the production line's first proof of concept and demonstration, the production line also supports the creation of any content style up to photorealism, adapting to the requirements of different genres.

Dimension's approach to AI focuses on the “human being", developing the process in a way that artists are in control and "their individual creativity and artistic performance is supported." In this way, the company wants to continue ensuring that "creative functions remain the most important aspect of any post-production or animation operation." With this in mind, the studio has developed its own policy, which the entire company adheres to: Ethical & Responsible AI, which outlines how and when Dimension intends to use AI, when it won't use it, and how it will maintain its human-centered approach to technology.
