Brut turns to Moments Lab and LucidLink to integrate AI-based workflows into Cannes Film Festival coverage
The AI video discovery specialist, Moments Lab, y LucidLink, focused on the use of the cloud in real time, will help Brut with Moments Lab's newly enhanced MXT-2 multi-modal AI engine from LucidLink to cover the Cannes Film Festival from May 13 to 24.
Moments Lab's most advanced AI model to date offers a understanding large scale videos through the generation of descriptions in natural language, rich and time-coded images. With new features like Custom Moments y Custom Insights, MXT-2 allows teams to instantly identify interesting scenes, classify topics, and generate editorial content from editorial videos.
AI has been trained with more than 1.5 billion images and outperforms Google Research's VidSeq in video sequencing by 47%. LucidLink's latest platform, unveiled at NAB 2025, introduces features such as a mobile app for iOS and Android, web-based file navigation, dynamic tiering for storage management, and seamless integration with AWS S3. These enhancements provide creative teams with instant, secure access to large media files from anywhere, eliminating the need for file downloads or synchronization.
Leveraging MXT-2's AI capabilities and LucidLink's real-time collaboration tools, Brut teams in Paris, New York and New Delhi will be able to Quickly access live images, identify key moments y produce attractive content for audiences around the world.
