Atresmedia produces together with Portocabo the new series 'Ágata y Lola', a police procedural with soul and emotion

Atresmedia continues its commitment to Spanish fiction with 'Ágata y Lola', its new original project for Antena 3 prime time, produced in collaboration with Portocabo, the Galician company responsible for titles like 'Honor'.

The series, composed of eight 50-minute episodes, has already started filming in Vigo and its surroundings and will also be available on atresplayer. Directed by María Togores and Oriol Ferrer, Agata and Lola It is executive produced by Montse García for Atresmedia and Alfonso Blanco for Portocabo.

Eva Martín and Mireia Oriol star in this story as Lola Castro and Ágata Díaz, two women with opposite personalities who form an unexpected alliance within the Homicide Group of the Judicial Police. Lola is an empathetic, impulsive inspector with great instinct, while Ágata, a brilliant police archivist with autism, brings an analytical and unique perspective that challenges traditional methods.

Throughout the series, both will learn to solve complex cases and break down personal and social barriers, building a friendship based on mutual understanding and respect.

The department is completed with names such as Antonio Garrido, Eva Fernández, Francis Lorenzo, Berta Vázquez, Juanjo Puigcorbé, Xose A. Touriñán, Mariano Peña, Darío Loureiro, Javier Collado, Celia Freijeiro and Xoán Fórneas, among others.
