Grup Mediapro launches virtual production set in Uruguay

The new set of Mediapro located in Montevideo (Uruguay) joins the network of virtual production dishes that the group has already consolidated in Barcelona (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Miami and New York (USA), ratifying the company's commitment to this audiovisual technology.

In this facility created through an agreement with Audiovisual Redoubt, 700m2 and equipped with the latest LED technology, projects can be developed 360 degrees: from the initial idea, to the technical execution of the filming and post-production of the piece. Mediapro Group, with a presence in Uruguay since 2019, has two companies in the country: Cimarron, a reference in the audiovisual sector in Latin America, and Colour by Mediapro, a post-production company.

The first work that has been carried out in the recently inaugurated facility has been the filming of two video clips of the musical group from Montevideo You won't like it. For this project, different teams of Mediapro Group They have worked in coordination, from several countries, to design and advise on production and carry out all the technical infrastructure such as the generation of virtual backgrounds, where the filming action has taken place.
