Filmin - Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival - Premieres

The first film, debut of Patricia Castaneda and winner of 9 awards at the 2025 Macondo Awards, reconstructs women's suffrage in Colombia in the 1950s. On the other hand, Trigger of Cristian Tapia Marchiori presents a police thriller filmed in real time and in a single sequence shot that portrays the story of an ex-hitman who accepts an assignment and “gets trapped in a chain of consequences.” In addition to these two premieres, 15 other feature films that are part of the cycle They at the forefront of history: acclaimed and award-winning films as Bethany, by Marcelo Botta (Brazil); little white, by Fernando Guzzoni (Chile), song without name, by Melina León (Peru) or Sofia's challenge, by Lillah Halla (Brazil).

The collaboration framework between Filmin and the Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival is reinforced with Cinephile Window, educational project by Profestivales21 (Seminci, Seville, Málaga, Sitges and Huelva) that is offered every autumn through Filmin exclusively for Primary, ESO and Baccalaureate schools, with viewings limited by age and didactic guides. In 2025, it will celebrate its sixth edition (October 15 – November 30) and includes 19 titles: 7 feature films and two programs of 6 short films each.
