The Galician Audiovisual Cluster opens the doors of the CEI

Within the framework of the I+P event, Ideas for Producing 2025, the Galician Audiovisual Cluster has promoted a professional day that will allow its partners to discover all the functionalities of the new virtual set Coruña Immersive Study (CEI) on Thursday, November 27.

The days will begin with the welcome ceremony, in charge of Alfonso Blanco, president of Galician Audiovisual Cluster, and will continue with the first of the afternoon panels on “Functionalities of the virtual set”. The general director of Pedralonga Studios, José Manuel Deus, will explain to attendees the advantages of Coruña Immersive Study (CEI), the virtual set with the best technical equipment in Spain and leader of the new generation of immersive filming in Europe. “Its commitment to virtual production and immersive environments reinforce CEI's position among producers seeking efficiency, creative flexibility and optimization of logistical costs,” according to Deus.

The conference will continue with a round table on “Key aspects of equity funds in the independent audiovisual sector”, with the participation of María Coronado, Audiovisual Director of the SETT (Spanish Society for Technological Transformation); Miguel Rodríguez, partner of Culture CAP7 Fund, and Alexandra Lebret, partner of Axio Capital (managing entity of Together Fund). The moderation will be carried out by Fernanda Tabarés, president of Pedralonga Estudios. This session aims to delve into the public and private financing possibilities that are available to production companies, in addition to transmitting legal certainty regarding investment in national and international productions, and bringing these instruments closer to professionals in the sector. After the speakers' intervention, a debate turn with the possibility of questions from those attending the conference, among whom will be the decision makers of the channels and platforms participating in this year's edition of I+P, the accredited pitching professionals, and the Cluster partners.

After the debate, the third and final panel of the afternoon under the title “Successful strategies in content production”, which includes the holding of two keynotes. The first: “Keynote TVG”, will be carried out by the director of Social Projection of the Audiovisual Services Corporation of Galicia (CSAG), Jaime Arias, while the “Keynote Movistar Plus+” will be the responsibility of the person responsible for Original Series on this platform, Susana Herreras. Both professionals will present the content strategy of their respective companies and their commitment to the audiovisual sector.
