AEQ - Radio Santa María de Toledo

After more than thirty years broadcasting from its previous headquarters, Radio Santa María de Toledo and the Diocesan TV Channel face a new stage marked by the move to renovated facilities and the updating of part of their technical equipment with solutions of AEQ.

Radio Santa María de Toledo, a station founded in 1993 to promote the dissemination of the gospel and the life of the Church, has been consolidated throughout three decades as a local reference thanks to programming that combines religious content, proximity information and cultural and musical spaces. For your last technological renewal, marked by the debut of a new headquarters, the station has trusted AEQ to deploy a Dante-based audio over IP network managed from a matrix NetBox 32 MX, which enables scalable and flexible multichannel routing.

AEQ - Radio Santa María de Toledo Along with this infrastructure, three consoles have been integrated Forum IP, designed for on-air control thanks to its modular design, parametric equalizers, filters, dynamics and up to 32 mix buses for program, auxiliary or clean feeds. In addition, a Capitol IP, an ultra-compact console with 100 mm faders and AoIP connectivity of up to 32 channels, designed for studios with limited space without sacrificing functional capacity, and a Systel IP 16, which offers an IP calling and conferencing system with 16 simultaneous VoIP lines, integration with Dante/AES-67 and scalability to connect multiple studios. They also remain in use audiocodecs already installed, which guarantee the continuity of high-quality communications thanks to its compatibility with the IP protocol, low latency and remote control.

As detailed by its technical director, Francisco Requena, "after 32 years broadcasting from the same location, Radio Santa María de Toledo and Canal Diocesano de TV have moved their facilities to a new headquarters, carrying out some updating and renewal of equipment on both Radio and TV. Thanks to the technical and human support of AEQ, (...) we face a new and exciting stage with important technical improvements, with the support of the Archbishopric of Toledo, the professionals that make up the staff and the companies that provide service and technical support."

The coordination of the project and the implementation of the equipment have been carried out by Bernardo Saiz, AEQ sales representative, whose technical monitoring has made it possible to adapt the solution to the specific needs of the station and ensure a smooth transition to the new facilities.
