RTVE bets on the Andalusian label of Manu Sánchez

The presenter, creator, audiovisual producer and one of the most popular faces of Canal Sur, Manu Sánchez, signs for RTVE with the aim of creating and building new spaces.

Manu Sánchez (Dos Hermanas, 1985) has more than two decades of professional and artistic career. His multidisciplinary profile and his ability to connect with the public have consolidated him as one of the most recognizable voices on the Spanish audiovisual scene, with a special connection to entertainment, humor and cultural dissemination.

He began his career on television Andalusian autonomous community, where he has led, created, directed and presented successful formats such as From the hand of Manu, Colga2 with Manu, The longest week, Vuelta y Vuelta by Manu Sánchez, Tierra de Talento, Somos Música o Don't stop dreaming. His career has developed in parallel on national television with a profile as a versatile and consolidated communicator within television entertainment in spaces such as The last monkey, Zaping o Your face sounds familiar to me.

In The 1 He has been a collaborator of the magazine better with you (2021-2022), second classified in dancing with the stars (2018); and summer quiz show host Do you play or what? (2019), together with Adriana Abenia.

In radio, has also developed an outstanding career, in spaces such as The window of the SER Chain or You Yes, in Los 40. In the documentary and production field, he has promoted from his production company 16 Steps projects that stand out for their cultural value and their look at the Andalusian identity, such as Andalusian from A to Z, I believe in you o Manuel Alcantara. A life in 15 rounds, presented at the Malaga Festival.

It has also developed an outstanding theatrical career with shows like The Alone King, The Last Saint, The Good Dictator, The Great Emigrant or his most recent production, We deliver, SGAE Award for Best National Humor Show Miguel Gila 2025 and nominated for the Lorca Awards in the categories of best author and best actor. He has also published two books: Deep Surnormal (2017) y Confession of an atheist and brother: First heterodox proclamation of Holy Week in Seville (2018).

Throughout his career he has been recognized with the Iris Award for the Best Regional Presenter (2024), the Medal of Andalusia (2025) and the appointment as Favorite Son and Gold Medal of Dos Hermanas (2026). He is a member of the Academy of Television and Audiovisual Sciences and Arts of Spain and actively participates in the development of the audiovisual and cultural sector.
