‘The chess player’ achieves three awards at the Houston Independent Film Festival

Luis Oliveros's film has raised the award for the best historical film, the best soundtrack (Alejandro Vivas) and the best main actor (Marc Clotet).
The film produced by Tornasol Films with the participation of Spanish Television, stars Marc Clotet and Melina Matthews and based on the homonymous novel by Julio Castedo. The story begins in 1934. Diego Padilla wins the Spanish chess championship and meets the French journalist Marianne Latour, who falls in love. She convinces him to live in France, where a short time later he will be accused of espionage by the Nazis and locked in a prison of the SS.
The chess player , released on May 5, remains on the billboard in 75 movie theaters from all over Spain.
