Viz Video Hub 1.2.1, full management

Vizrt will present version 1.2.1 of Viz Video Hub at NAB'09 with new functions for video archiving, integration with stage workflows and with the Viz Link video manager.

The Norwegian Vizrt will introduce to the market, coinciding with NAB'09, Viz Video Hub version 1.2.1. It is a scalable solution for production and archiving in IT-based environments. This plug-and-play media management solution installed in numerous networks around the world offers extended archive support through the Tape Robot function. This function includes the possibility of ingesting and playing out material, transcoding, browsing, quick editing... With its new support for the workflow with Viz Link, Viz Video Hub 1.1 offers graphic solutions, including Viz Trio HD/SD CG engineering, Viz Content Pilot for creating real-time graphics based on templates, and the Viz Multichannel channel branding generator. Viz Link supports video management alongside Viz Video Hub for quick access to graphics generated from other Vizrt solutions such as Viz Content Pilot, Viz Multichannel and Viz Trio. Additionally, the video material from the Viz Video Hub can be accessed from the Escenic Content Studio software for managing and publishing content on the web or other platforms.
Viz Video Hub 1.2.1 helps maximize the value of media assets and automate them with the help of the Viz Ingest Manager, even capable of recording live signal inputs for later broadcast or capturing from tape with Viz Capture or accessing servers via Viz Video Engine. These possibilities have positioned Vizrt in the media management market in digital newsrooms for television and new media.
